SMS Terms & Conditions – The Party Staff

Program

The Party Staff, Inc. operates an SMS messaging program to send shift reminders and operational messages to employed hospitality staffing workers. Messages notify staff of upcoming assignments and allow them to confirm or cancel shifts. This program is operated solely for workforce communication purposes and is not used for marketing or promotional messaging.

Who Can Receive Messages

This program is exclusively for current employees and active staff members of The Party Staff, Inc. Messages are sent only to individuals who have provided their mobile phone number and provided explicit SMS consent during the employee onboarding process. No messages are sent to individuals who have not actively opted in.

How Consent Is Collected

Consent is collected during employee onboarding via a digital onboarding form. The form presents the following disclosure: “By selecting ‘I Accept,’ you agree to receive SMS text messages from The Party Staff regarding shift reminders and operational messages. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on scheduling activity. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive SMS messages is not required for employment.” The employee must actively select “I Accept” to opt in. The option is not pre-selected. Employees who select “I Do Not Accept” will not receive SMS messages. Consent to receive SMS messages is never a condition of employment.

Message Types

Messages sent through this program may include:

  • Shift assignment notifications
  • Shift update or cancellation alerts
  • Shift confirmation requests
  • Operational messages from your coordinator

No marketing, promotional, or third-party messages will be sent through this program.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your scheduling activity. You may receive between 1–10 messages per week depending on active assignments. Message frequency is directly tied to your shift schedule.

Rates & Costs

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. The Party Staff, Inc. does not charge for SMS messages. Standard carrier messaging rates may apply. Please check with your mobile carrier for details on your messaging plan.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from The Party Staff. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To re-subscribe, reply START. Opting out of SMS messages does not affect your employment status.

Supported carriers include but are not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and other major U.S. carriers. Carrier support may vary. Neither The Party Staff nor carriers are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Changes to These Terms

The Party Staff, Inc. reserves the right to update these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted at https://partystaff.com/sms-terms/. Continued participation in the SMS program constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
